London-based designer, best known for her eponymous range of shoe designs and highly acclaimed collaborations across the creative industries.

Storing shoes is challenging in terms of space and aesthetic. I wanted to create a piece that is both storage and display, taking inspiration from wood’s natural form.

An alumnus of Central Saint Martins, Beatrix Ong pursued a career in fashion and was creative director of Jimmy Choo at just 22 years old. In 2002, Beatrix launched her eponymous shoe range, which was sold in the world’s most prestigious stores including Saks Fifth Avenue, Liberty, and Dover Street Market. Some of her shoe designs are in the permanent collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum. Beatrix was awarded an MBE in the 2011 New Year’s Honours list in recognition of her services to British Fashion.
