Born in Denmark, Henrik travelled extensively, took a degree in social studies and trained as a joiner before settling on design. His measured and elegant approach is probably best showcased in his product design for Bang & Olufsen. Furniture remains his passion, however - one that finds fresh expression through his collaboration with Joined + Jointed. "I love working together with makers who have passion and attitude," he says. Henrik's designs for Joined +Jointed epitomise his desire to investigate the nature of materials and to create "pieces that continue to give surprise and pleasure long after the purchase".
